Almost Fall

It's almost Fall, get to smelling like it at times, Fall is my favorite time of the entire year I think......and each year when I get to experience it, I feel blessed.  I am starting a new way of eating, and am loving it, can eat lots of food; mostly fruit and veggies, some Tofu and other good stuff.  Feeling so much better, and I am hoping to make this my change of life eating pattern for the rest of my life.  Really cheaper also, cause I find I don't eat as much.  Yeehaw. What a win/win/win.

My grand daughter now has her own apartment, her own space where she doesn't have to share with anyone, she can decorate the way she wants, or not......the transformation in her self esteem is great to see.  I'm glad.....she's extremely talented and that brings back memories of school for me.   We do talk a lot of art; and then watch any/all  cop shows available.  It's fun and I'm glad I can share in it.  Maybe that's why I'm here.......kinda think so.  I'm soooo  glad.

FIRE

Fire is ravaging my old home town area.......many homes burned to the ground.  OMG.  My good friends in Upper County are okay, as are their animals. Thank goodness.

HEAT is ravaging this area in Vancouver......I SO do not like this kind of heat; not healthy for anything except lizards.  Thank goodness we have a pool so the tenants can cool off.  My cats are conked out in front of the fans, and we are all awaiting the arrival of the window A/C I ordered two weeks ago.  Phew !!!!!

My wonderful grand daughter is living with me for a little while, until her apartment is finished; and then for the very first time in her life, she will have a space of her own, such an empowering experience.  We looked at vehicles last night and so that will help her get where she wants to go, whenever she wants to.  I'm excited to watch this transition.....and blessed.  She's very very talented in graphic design; brings back so many memories of doing the same thing; but now my medium is fabric.  Yup, we be creative women here......

I'm grateful for each and every day I get to wake up and make more art.  And each and every night when I finally crash......I'm grateful for the day I had. I think it's called spirituality.  I love it.

OMG July 4th is over and quiet prevails.  Goody.  I'm a little backed up in the fabric art dept. so am putting in some long hours to complete projects being waited for.  Not complaining tho; I love it.  The weather is wonderful here in Vancouver, the best time of the year here.

WOW.....I have almost enough art done to have a site dedicated to just that.  I'm soooo excited; I love doing art, and am grateful I have the chance to do so.
Am also hoping the weather will turn around and become the nice stuff we usually have in this area at this time of year.

Another Page in my Life

OMG......a new job opportunity.....I accepted.....requires me to move.....I'm excited.  My new apt. is being completely, and I mean COMPLETELY ,  so although it will be a tad smaller than this one, it will be soooo much nicer.  Yeehaw.  I will be able to stop working in retail completely, and focus on what I feel I have been put on earth to do......art.  I worked my butt off to get the degree,  the mechanics are implanted, and the ideas abound.  So I'm being given a chance to prove I have the " stuff " to do it.  I'm excited.  The new place is so kitty friendly, they are gonna love it.  Ledges all over the place, almost like race tracks......fun is in the future.  I'm so grateful for this opportunity I can hardly express it.  Later.

Another Opportunity........

Brrrrrr........wonderfully foggy outside, London weather.  And colder than something,  even my cats in their wonderful fur coats don't want to be out in it.  Oh well, they have become wusses, as is their mistress.  I'm looking forward to my new adventure, same town, same company but another site. Also joined a gym and Weight Watchers........am gonna get this body I'm walking around in more fit and healthier. I'm looking forward to that.  Will then, and only then, sew up a plethora of new clothes for myself.  To all who are in contact with this, have a wonderful day and bless you all.  Love.

beginning 2012

WOW.......and here we go.  Made it another year........I'm grateful for just being alive, all I've been given and all I haven't.  I work part time at a couple of jobs I really love, with people I love also.  I sincerely do love retail, have seemed to return to it; first while in college, and second upon graduating. I love the whole experience, not  just the people I get to meet, but the colors, the way a store is laid out, the sales......I get to look at, touch, open and sniff all kinds of products, and don't feel the need to buy. Couldn't get any better.  I really like shopping all year long for future gifts; I have a plastic tote I put the stuff in, and when a day happens that I can use one, I'm all set. Love that feeling.  I wish all my friends and family the very best the new year has to offer one and all.  Follow your passion, it's so important.
